I. Introduction
ZOA Iraq supports vulnerable conflict-affected people with social reconstruction activities, livelihoods assistance and psychosocial support to establish stable and peaceful communities with hope for the future.
II. Purpose of the position
The Agriculture Officer /Project Officer is responsible for the implementation of ZOA project activities / Agriculture activities at the community level within a program area where the project budget level is less than $60k for directly implemented projects.
III. Main activities
Tasks responsibilities, results
- Implement Agriculture projects at the community level
- Reports on project implementation to the Project Manager regularly
- Carry out needs assessments.
- Engage in community mobilization.
- Deliver training to beneficiaries /Farmers on a specific topic.
- Monitor and document project progress and liaison with Community Based Organizations
- (CBO) and Local partners for monitoring of project progress
- Support CBOs and local NOGs to implement/monitor the project activities
- Actively liaise with project beneficiaries on project activities
- Conduct frequent field visits
- Ensure the ZOA Code of Conduct and Child Protection Policy are kept in all activities
Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:
Competencies
Knowledge & experience
- Bachelor in relevant field or proven experience
- Minimum working experience 1-2 years in project implementation
- Data collection and project reporting
- Community mobilization /working with community-based organizations
- Partnering with local NGO’s
- Good spoken and written command in English.
- Excellent spoken and written command of Arabic
- Excellent spoken and written command of Kurdish in an advantage
- Computer skills
