  • Respond to calls from refugees, IDPs and host communities
  • Follow up with beneficiaries of cash grants for receiving the assistances fully.
  • Keeping information about caller’s person of concern with confidentiality
  • Assist in developing training and tools for helpline;
  • Assist in updating, maintaining and expanding helpline network, resources and databases;
  • Referring the PoCs to the other units of SWEDO, using internal referral mechanism in order to engage with the particular service.
  • Provide general relevant administrative support;
  • Participate in regular meetings such as staff meetings, debriefings;
  • Record calls and caller’s information by completing provided forms;
  • Register complaints from IDPs, and Refugee and follow up with concerned departments;
  • Provide the information for IDPs and Refugee to get to the services within the province Gov.
  • Ensuring good visibility of SWEDO and the donor;
  • Making sure that the community is informed of the Deadline, location and the method of cash receipt.
  • Promptly identify and recommend solutions to technical issues;
  • Monitor progress against work plan, promptly identifying any current or potential delays distribution;
  • Fully comply with SWEDO safety and security procedures and provide input to security monitoring and assessments to enable and promote a safe and secure environment for program implementation.
  • Carry out any other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.

 

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Science or related Studies;
  • Minimum One year experience in the same position or field;
  • Fluency in Kurdish-Sorani and Kurmanji, Arabic and English languages;
  • NGO experience preferred and proven abilities to work with host and IDP;
  • Work well in and promotes teamwork, strong community outreach skills details Oriented, honest, flexible and able to handle pressure well;
  • Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with colleagues from varied cultures and professional backgrounds;
  • Ability to handle confidential matters, meet deadlines and work under pressure;
  • Personal commitment, efficiency, flexibility, and drive for results;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in addition to organizational skill.
