Description Of The Assignment
Main tasks:
- Active participation in trading in close collaboration with the traders
- Stay on top of market trends, company news and macro developments
- Researching issuers using internal and external sources as well as participating in research updates and investor calls
- Analysis and management of interest rate and credit risk
- Negotiation, trading and booking of securities lending & borrowing transactions
- Booking of bond trades and troubleshooting settlement issues
- Improving processes and spreadsheets
Searched profile
Required skills and experience:
- Recently graduated from University in Banking/Economics/Finance
- Strong interest in the area of Finance and Capital Markets
- Previous work experience (internship) across asset classes including equities, fixed income, credit, commodities as well as alternative investments and/or consulting preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, fluency in German (understanding Swiss-German) and English (our primary working language), French is an advantage
- Self-motivation combined with a strong team spirit
- Ability to set priorities, be flexible, well organized and enjoy working in a dynamic and international environment
