About The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for managing digital projects / e-initiatives projects within Qatar Airways and required externally by customer or industry. You will also participate in meetings and conference calls with key network stakeholders (outstations, GSA, GHA and IATA) to promote e-initiatives and work cross-functionally with various departments to achieve business goals within agreed timescales and costs.

  • Define requirements (and challenges), design roadmaps and finalize timelines for various programs
  • Define operational and technical requirements and processes of projects with stakeholders and ensure such requirements are drawn, reviewed and submitted to appropriate internal teams (MIS reports, Online Distribution Portals, Customer Digital Initiatives, IATA industry initiatives etc.)
  • Coordinate periodic reviews with each global account relative to digital collaborations
  • Provide cost effective solution for e-freight and e-AWB projects, Customer Digital Platforms, CC & CG charges
  • Manage and maintain complete documentation of project objectives, milestones and success criteria
  • Interact with Network Offices, Ground Handlers, General Sales Agents (GSAs) and external customers on specific project requirements

Qualifications
About you

  • 5 years of experience of interfaces with third parties and customers using CIMP and XML messages
  • Experience in Cargo / Logistics Operations Management, Digital Transformation, MIS, e-Commerce and relevant fields
  • Experience in Business Process Analysis, Mapping & Implementation, System Implementation & Development, Data Analysis and General Project Management
  • Experience in Cargo Business System, Continuous Business Improvement, General Project/ Program Management
  • Comprehend, represent and analyze data using MS Excel and Tableau
  • Experience of Cargo systems like Cargo spot, IBS etc.
  • Bachelor���������s Degree or equivalent with preferably Project Management Certification
