Senior Procurement Specialist

About The Role

You will assist in managing all procurement requirements in a given or group of product categories, comprising of all goods, services and works required from the relevant stakeholders, helping to set category strategy, interfacing with internal customers and suppliers to ensure best value for the company in line with its strategic, financial and operational requirements.

About You

You will possess:

  • 4+ years of in sourcing, procurement and category management in different direct and indirect sourcing categories, such as Catering, IT, Uniforms, professional services, Ground Services Equipment, etc with demonstrable experience in the field of expertise.
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business or a Related Field.
  • Proven records in Category planning, analysis and management
  • Proven records of building internal stakeholders relationship by working together to optimize and leverage volumes and specifications, challenging these where required.
  • Proven records of compliance at all times with the organization policies and processes.
  • Good understanding and previous experience in setting and achieving category���������s KPIs to strive to achieve targets and provide competitive advantage.

  • Ability to work in a very dynamic environment, under pressure, with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to influence, convince, and build effective business relationships across diverse groups of people.

  • Excellent negotiation planning, management and execution skills
  • Flexible, organized, autonomous
  • Fluent command of English language.
  • Contractual and Financial acumen.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and usual Office tools
  • Negotiations skills.
  • Numeracy and the ability to present data clearly and accurately.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
