About The Role

You will be responsible for the daily payable activities, meeting all KPIs and SLAs striving to improve productivity as per industry benchmarks for the transportation or the airline field. These activities include, but are not limited to, Direct Operating cost management, Indirect cost management, vendor/utility payments, passenger claims, ticket refunds of the QR Group across the network, including Doha and outstations. The role is also responsible for the implementation of new technologies and process/system migrations.

You will supports the production of reports which will result in actions to ensure all financial commitments are met without any penalties, over-payments whilst ensuring quality checks have been complied in line with Finance policies and Internal Accounting Procedures. In line with Finance best practices, apply Self-audit plans and controls to ensure timely completion while ensuring accuracy, relevance and no recovery due to inadvertent mistake or fraud.

Qualifications

About you

You Will Possess

  • A minimum of 6 years specialist of job-related experience required.
  • Proficient with knowhow of ERP (Oracle/SAP). Thorough knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Qualified ACA / ACCA / CPA.
  • ERP specialist and experienced in digitalized processing environment.
  • Qualified in Lean or Lean Six Sigma process analysis
  • Qualified in Project Management
  • Understanding of vendor master data categorization, vendor optimization, No PO No pay policy, payment terms rationalization, Invoice to Pay SLA’s and KPI’s
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English with excellent presentation skills.
  • Knowledge on contracts management.
  • Must have the ability to analyse and interpret data.
  • Should be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently with minimal instructions.
  • Strong analytical skills will the ability to review variances, understand business cycle and their impact on profit and loss account.
  • Knowledge of cost centre accounting, preparing budgets and forecasts
  • Must have excellent organizational ability to set priorities, handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
  • Managerial skills – Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate’s skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
