National Plaintiff’s civil litigation firm seeks a Litigation Paralegal for our St. Louis, Missouri, office. Providing litigation support to attorneys representing individuals suffering from Mesothelioma as a result of asbestos exposure.

Responsibilities Include

• Ensuring that clients receive, correctly complete , and return authorizations
• Filing summonses and complaints and working with vendors to effectuate service
• Speaking with clients to obtain information for inclusion in standard interrogatory responses
• Drafting responses to defendants’ discovery requests
• Keeping track of important dates for cases
• Filing discovery motions and oppositions to summary judgment motions

Qualifications

• Excellent typing and computer skills
• Familiarity with legal research
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented with the ability to analyze and problem solve
• 3-5 years of experience as an asbestos litigation paralegal or personal injury paralegal is preferred
