Job Description:

• Support data team with day-to-day data operational tasks including data standardization, data upload, and other data management tasks

• Work closely with Data Operations Team and other business stakeholders and involve in other database projects as and when required.

• Create and maintain all documentation used for training and ensure any changes are available to end-users as soon as possible

• Applies standards and checks to ensure data integrity at all points of capture e.g. review registration brief and ensure all Online/on-site forms match with DMG Events Databases and CRM (Salesforce.com)

• Develop data quality strategies and plans that enhance business processes, working closely with functional leaders to ensure an appropriate balance of quality vs change.

• Quickly understands both business issues and technical data challenges, in order to identify and address potential gaps.

• Create and automate the existing functionality in SQL to identify potential problems and provide proactive solutions

• Understand business processes, goals, pain points & opportunities in commercial/operational lines of business

• Ensures issues are identified, documented, tracked, reported on, and resolved in a timely manner

• Maintain data standards, including adherence to the DMG Events data standards

• Understand business processes, goals, pain points & opportunities in commercial/operational lines of business

Skills Required:

• 3-5 years+ experience in data management

• Experience in database tools and technologies like SQL , Microsoft Excel, etc

• Knowledge around setting up stored procedures in SQL

• Strong communication & Presentation skills

• Familiarity with data manipulation languages and the principles of database design

• Attention to detail and commitment to reliable production deliverables

• Flexibility and adaptability

• Work under limited supervision following standardized practices and procedures.
