Spotify Studios is the team that drives relationships, development, and production associated with podcasts. We are looking for an expert and a passionate executive to own the development of our MENA / Arabic language podcast strategy to further develop the regional podcast ecosystem.You will be tasked with growing Spotify���s regional podcast strategy, with consideration for our global approach. That will involve using industry understanding, insights and connections to make sure we serve podcast listeners and creators in the most significant way.The right candidate will be passionate about podcasts, will have an appreciation for localised business strategy and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with multiple partners.What You’ll DoGrow and enhance Spotify’s podcast business strategy in MENALook after partner onboarding to the platform while amplifying relationships with content providers and creatorsDefine and implement Spotify���s audio platform strategyTrain, educate and partner with the creators across different tiers in the region at scale!Engage internal team members and external partners while implementing locallyCollaborate with teams across Spotify including licensing, programming, marketing, analytics among othersWork with the Content Insights and Analytics team to identify / monitor key market and competitive trendsWho You AreYou bring a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience with a strategic background in media or content! You have a deep understanding of content consumption and platform engagement trendsEnglish and Arabic proficiency is requiredExperience in a podcast or audio business with established industry and creator relationships Excellent ability to build relationships with multiple internal/external stakeholdersAbility to understand, source and analyse sets of data and insights and utilise them for concrete recommendations to optimize our offering and growthStrong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skillsYou are flexible to travel as the need arises
