World Vision has a diverse global fleet of well over 10,000 standard vehicles and motorcycles, including drilling rigs and watercraft. The total fleet portfolio represents one of the largest asset groups in the organisation.

As the Fleet Safety Advisor, you will be expected to support and actively contribute to the safe, efficient and effective delivery of flexible, industry recognized transportation solutions to support World Vision operations. You will pay particular attention to fleet safety solutions to ensure that our drivers and vehicles are able to operate safely across World Visions National Office and Response operations.

World Vision is committed to operating its global fleet resources safely, cost effectively and with a reduced environmental impact.

Requirements include:

  • Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in staff safety, fleet management and/or logistics processes within a large complex national or international organization.
  • Substantial experience in the creation and implementation of safety programs, fleet management systems, compliance and investigations, training, metrics, reporting and vehicle accident reduction
  • Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in logistics, security, supply chain or risk management
  • Recognized industry qualification in logistics, supply chain or risk management.
  • Suitable transferable qualifications from the military, government or private sector
  • Ability to travel anywhere World Vision operates up to 30% of the time.
