- Great opportunity for someone with Logistics experience to join the team in our Perishables Handling Centre near Heathrow.
Your Role
The main job role is to manage the total process for Air Logistics customers (Perishable cargo) based on their KN service requirements (customs clearance/delivery/invoicing) to the set standard whilst maintaining and developing existing customer relationships.
Your Responsibilities
- Processing customers customs requests
- Liaising with Defra to clear shipments
- Working with HMRC to resolve customs queries
- Raising and discharging of T1’s
- Working with customers to update them on their shipments
- Processing shipments through customs system
- Shifts will be 4 days on 4 days off working 06.00 – 18.00
- Working from the office on site
Your Skills And Experiences
- Customs Experience
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Computer literate
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team is essential
