As a Business Analyst, you will support the Eye-ware and Contact Lenses Category leadership team in tracking performance across our global markets. Utilizing commercial data from the markets, you will perform deep-dive analysis to evaluate the impact our brand portfolio has in achieving the strategic objectives, from product launch to long-term growth ambitions. In addition, you will provide decision support advice on best practices and define KPIs to improve the performance of our brands.
As the ideal candidate, you have outstanding analytical skills; capable of obtaining clear insights from large data sets and transforming them into concrete action plans. You are eager to build your network inside the company, open to explore different ways of working while bringing new ideas to the table.
Responsibilities
1- Business partnering
- Partner with the Eye wear and Contact Lens Categories Leadership teams to support and challenge current and future business assumptions.Identify and implement process improvements across different functional business areas.
- Identify and implement process improvements across different functional business areas.
2- Management reporting & Business insights
- Provide high quality reports and dashboards to support management in their decision making.
- Develop and maintain business/finance KPIs and analyses to support effective performance management.
- Design and develop data reporting systems for business operations.
3- Decision support
- Ensure strategic decisions are supported by in depth analysis and robust business cases.
- Finance support for EB brands Target Cost process
- Support managers on data gathering working with the regional market organizations and synthesize information needs.
Key skills, knowledge and experience
- University degree in business administration, business economics and/or management control.
- 3+ years in business analysis, developing standards / processes / specification / policies / etc.
- Relevant experience within a multinational retail environment is a plus.
- Ideally, knowledge of SAP or other similar systems.
- Strong excel skills and comfortable working with large data sets.
- Internationally mobile for a future career within GrandVision.
- Positive, can-do attitude.
- Drive innovation and idea generation in the business insights area.
- Proactive and strong team player but not afraid to challenge.
- High level of energy and ambition to realise a positive impact.
- Highly adaptable to new environments; with a natural ability to embrace learning and develop.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong knowledge of English (written & spoken).
Benefits/Terms
Contract: In line with common market practice a 1-year (/ fixed-term) contract will initially be offered with a view to extend.
Workplace type: Hybrid. We offer the option to continue working 2 days at home and 3 days at the office with a working from home bundle incl. chair and screen etc. provided to support this.
Salary: We pay competitive salaries in line with the international retail sector. We are looking forward to discussing your salary expectations during the interview.
