In this role, you have the opportunity to

be the accounting and controlling lead for Philips Domestic Appliances Austria GesmbH including the Klagenfurt R&D site. You are creating meaningful analytics and you are actively participating in projects. You manage the local relevant accounting, financial reporting, monthly balance sheet creation, statutory reporting, and Finance Audits.

You are responsible for

  • Assistance in monthly closing process (including preparation, reviews) regarding US-GAAP and IFRS principles
  • Preparation and analysis of monthly reports
  • Balance Sheet analysis
  • Assistance in annual budget preparation (AOP) and quarterly forecasting process (ROFO)
  • Project Controlling (including e.g. monthly reviews with Business and Project Management, management of relevant software tool (Dagobert, Planisware, QlikView), …)
  • Preparation and Maintenance of documentation of accounting procedures and internal controls (ICS)
  • Contribution to continuous improvement process
  • Communication and cooperation with the Business Unit Controlling in Amsterdam, AccOps Hamburg, SSO Vienna, Infosys Lodz and Pune
  • Coordination of the CAPEX- and Asset Management Process
  • Miscellaneous account analysis
  • Ad-hoc analysis for requests
  • Management Support

You are a part of

the Finance Team of Philips Domestic Appliances. You will act in a young, dynamic, and international team who is dedicated to deliver our commitments. You will have exposure to the other R&D controller as well as the EU market organization at all levels, as well as your counterparts in all FP&A centers.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in finance gained in a controlling function. Preferably you have worked internationally in a regional/market finance role
  • Profound knowledge in supporting and reviewing business cases that are consolidating into strategic long-term plans. You understand the business implications and underlining issues of the cases and plans
  • Preferably experience with the local Austrian tax law
  • Solid insight into financial systems and processes
  • Skilled in financial/data analysis in excel and not afraid of digging into the numbers yourself
  • Experience with presenting and providing advice to senior management
  • Advanced technical skills in Excel, ERP (SAP preferred) and PowerPoint Experience with reporting & analytical tools
  • Well-developed communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English and German

The minimum yearly salary is equal to EUR 70.200,00 gross with willingness to overpay. The actual annual income is commensurate with the market, your qualifications, and experience.
