Our Oilfield Services Team is assembling and testing the latest products of oilfield equipment which is beating heart of our work. We collaborate with our development teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, geoscience, to develop innovative drilling tools.

As Engineer – Technical Support & Management (d/f/m) you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the day-to-day drilling operations, monitoring the work in progress and dealing with any problems that arise
  • Responsibility for the crew shift on the test drilling rig in accordance with legal and internal regulations
  • Taking ownership of the mechanical equipment (drawwork, top drive, mud pumps, etc.), supervision of the drilling operations, implementation of the respective drilling and test work programs
  • Coordinating and instructing of the drilling team including employee appraisals for all work on the test drilling rig
  • Ensuring borehole safety, shut in borehole procedure and carrying out kill operations in coordination with the supervisor
  • Implementing of the company’s safety, environmental protection and quality policy
  • Managing and coordinating of maintenance and repair work
  • Assisting in trouble shooting and assisting in the planning and execution of expansion and conversion projects

Show Your Passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have successfully completed your training in drilling technology at the drilling school or comparable
  • Have significant experience as a supervisor on deep drilling rigs and execution of deep drilling operations
  • Have a valid Borehole Control Certificate (IWCF Level 4 – Supervisor)
  • Have good knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
  • Have good user skills in (MS-Windows, MS-Office, SAP)
  • Be result-oriented work and inquisitive when working with new technology
  • Have good written and verbal English skills, due to working in an international diverse working environment
  • Have a high level of expertise in occupational safety, health and environmental protection
