As the Director HR Business Partner you will provide strategic HR support and guidance to the Global Animal Health Manufacturing (GAHM) organization which is a part of our Company’s Manufacturing Division. Your primary business stakeholders for the role are senior leaders from Operations and Quality organizations. In this role, you will coach the leadership teams and provide expertise in the development of the organizational talent and diversity strategy, talent management, workforce planning, organizational design, restructuring, change management, leader effectiveness, performance management, compensation and rewards, and escalated employee relations issues.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR and executive coaching support to senior leaders on the GAHM Leadership Team
- Create and drive the talent and diversity strategy for the assigned organization.
- Support all talent management, succession planning, organizational design and organizational alignment activities within client groups. Direct client restructuring activities when necessary. Contribute to organizational change management activities when necessary.
- Coach leaders and members of leadership teams to successfully manage all cyclical people management processes (talent management, succession planning, performance management, compensation planning, etc.).
- Partner with the learning & development organization on learning strategies and solutions to support and enable talent strategy.
- Partner with talent acquisition organization on activities in support of the organization’s workforce plan and talent strategy.
- Provide leadership and project management to critical HR initiatives across GAHM, as needed.
- Collaborate across the HR network and act as a central point of contact for all of the GAHM plants (24 at the moment of posting) around the world, as well as other stakeholders across the organization to resolve escalated issues and generate solutions to enable client’s business strategy.
Your Profile
Education
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline; Master’s preferred
Experience
- Minimum 10 years’ experience as an HR Business Partner and in an HR COE or relevant applicable experience
- Previous HR Business Partner experience supporting a regional / global client base
Skills/Competencies
- Demonstrated HR functional proficiency in one or more HR disciplines
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, demonstrated ability to consult with and coach senior leaders and managers across multiple cultures
- Ability to strategically prioritize time and problem solve against most impactful activities and initiatives
- Strong workforce analytics skills, data-driven mindset and proven experience of navigating and leveraging HR systems / data analytics to support client consultation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to demonstrate and foster collaboration among peers and extended HR organization, solid networking skills
- Ability to operate with an agile mindset within a fast-paced environment across multiple countries
- Resilience and positive thinking, can-do approach
- Understanding manufacturing systems and processes (Hoshin Kanri, 5YP, Tier process and others) is a plus
