As the first and so far, the only company in the world, we are processing the cocoa fruit in cooperation with smallholders in rural Ghana. Through our activities, the farmers increase their income significantly and an additional 40% of the cocoa pulp is used. As Sales Area Manager Food Service, you will carry Koa’s passion for impact and amazing products into the culinary Food Service world. In your position you will be responsible for the acquisition, development and management of a network of distribution partners as well as direct key Food Service accounts in your sales area. Among other activities you will be responsible for:

The Acquisition and Account Management, which include.

  • Proactive lead generation through the execution of promotional activities in cooperation with the Marketing Departement
  • Autonomous customer sampling and application development support
  • Lead conversion through excellent sales support and customer service, as the go to person for inquiries from direct or indirect Food Service customers
  • Accelerating distribution partners sales success through dedicated training and support, as well as accompanying distributor’s sales representatives
  • Gather market insight to develop and execute promotional activities with our distribution partners and the Koa Marketing Department

Sales Management, which include.

  • Development, Management and Continuous Improvement of the sales funnel and tools
  • Demand planning and value proposition development based on market insights

Your Profile

  • You are driven to dedicate your working hours to a meaningful but equally joyful cause
  • You have either a professional background as a chocolatier, baker, chef, confiseur or similar with working experience and/or academic degree (Bachelor) in a commercial subject or food science
  • You have at least 3 years of work experience in customer-facing activities such as sales, marketing, product development, and/or food promotion
  • You have a hands-on attitude when it comes to cooking and food creations and are able to excite people with your passion for it
  • You are self-driven, motivated, and persistent with an ambitious mindset and desire to create
  • You are willing to work from home with a substantial amount of traveling, have an own car, and are in possession of a valid driving license
  • You are based in Western Germany or Benelux and fluent in German and English, French, or Dutch would be a plus.
