Position Overview: YepChat is seeking a Business Development Representative to join our fast-paced and growing team!

What You’ll Do
Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop sales opportunities
Interact with prospects via email, phone and LinkedIn
Research new and existing pipeline accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to stimulate opportunities
Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
Become a trusted resource and develop superior relationships with prospects
Update prospect interaction in our CRM to ensure efficient data management
Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas to ensure revenue objectives
Collaborate! Provide closed-loop feedback to ensure continuous process optimization

Required Skills
Qualify (and disqualify) prospects through comprehensive research; invest necessary time accordingly
Cold email, calling, LinkedIn outreach — tactics proven to start revenue-driving conversations that you’ve successfully implemented in (ideally) a previous role
Ability to engage prospects, build credibility and utilize sales techniques to move clients through the beginning of their buying journey, including effective questioning and note taking, objection handling, strategic positioning, and closing on next steps
Create and share thoughtful content by way of Linkedin and email, to engage prospects
Build peer relationships with owners and management of target accounts
Empathy and excellent listening skills
Clear, concise communication with clients and teammates

Not Required But Nice To Have
Experience working in a restaurant software company or for a restaurant concept
Past experience in sales/business development operations
