What You Will Do

• Help to define the quantitative analysis and model-based approach to covering fixed income, equity and currency markets
• Improve forecasting capabilities
• Maintain and develop macroeconomic and financial databases
• Research topical economic and financial issues, providing coherent and structured analysis
• Provide accurate and timely data analysis
• Employ a systematic approach to information gathering

What You Bring

• Master student in statistics, economics/finance, maths, physics or other quantitative science
• Programming skills in Python, R, or similar software, and machine learning libraries are necessary
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Good understanding of macroeconomics and financial market fundamentals
• Knowledge of financial market information systems such as Bloomberg and Datastream as well as Microsoft office software
• Being in Switzerland or willingness to relocate. Key stakeholders are based in Zurich, Switzerland
• At the time of the internship, you need to be enrolled at university or a center of further education
