Working Student / Intern – Software Quality Engineering for Web Applications (F/M/D)

Imagine being a critical part of our dynamic team of Full Stack Developers and QA Engineers working in Squads on NavVis IVION, which runs in any modern web browser as it is based on open standards (TypeScript, WebGL, Three.JS, Angular, HTML, SCSS). Try it out yourself here.

In this role, you will support the development of state of the art software testing methodologies and processes which lay the groundwork for NavVis’ test architecture

How You Will Make An Impact

• You will be actively supporting the QA engineers of the team in writing and executing tests
• You will contribute to the planning, designing, specification and development of test strategies, test dashboards and reports
• You will be involved in prioritizing, debugging, and monitoring bugs to speed up the process in the middle of an energetic and fast-paced product development team
• You will help make sure that every deployment is quality-driven and goes out on time
• You will have the crucial responsibility of writing high-quality, well tested and documented code, ready to run in production environment
• You will have the opportunity to share your knowledge in an agile team, while also participating in the continuous improvement of our software quality

What Will Help You Succeed In The Role

• Hands on programming experience in Python
• Basic knowledge of test automation, integration and E2E web application testing
• Passion for identifying weak spots and constantly designing better and creative ways to break software and identify potential problems
• Solid analytical skills and excellent problem-solving skills, accompanied by an ability to meet timeline requirements
• Initial experience in setting up tests in a CI/CD pipeline
• Excellent English language skills, since it is our official language of communication
• Experience with quality assurance processes (test case planning, bug reporting, issue tracking), cloud technologies (preferably AWS, Kubernetes) and CI/CD (e.g. TeamCity) will be an added bonus!
