As a Working Student – Information Security Coordinator at the Cash-IT product, you will be an interface between the central security department and the IT department at Cash-IT product. As part of this department, you will support the team by protecting information assets in terms of safety, integrity, confidentiality, authenticity and availability by enforcing information security controls based on the relevant regulatory requirements that follow the international standard on Information Security Management Systems. As a part of your daily business, you will be actively involved in identification, analysis, monitoring and reporting of both information security risks and security vulnerabilities as well as participating in continuous process improvements and automation. In addition to the valuable practical experience in Information Security, you will gain exposure to the Deutsche Börse Group and have the opportunity to network with the division and executive-level management.
Your Responsibilities
- You will support the team in planning, execution and monitoring of the Information Risk Management process.
- You will support the team in planning, execution and monitoring of the Penetration Test vulnerabilities.
- You will support the team in planning, execution and monitoring of the Software and Hardware security vulnerabilities.
- Furthermore, you will assist the team with a range of administrative and organizational tasks.
- You will independently track, monitor and administer project activities.
Your profile
- Your field of study is Business Informatics, Mathematics, Information Security or similar. You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor´s or Master´s degree program in the field of Business Informatics, Business Administration or similar and have completed at least 2 semesters.
- You are interested in Information Security particularly in understanding the balanced protection of confidentiality, integrity, and availability in terms of effective and efficient risk management system.
- You are a team player with good interpersonal communication skills.
- You have very good knowledge in MS Office with prior experience with MS Excel, JIRA System, Cyber security Problems and dealing with them.
- You are fluent in written and spoken English and German.
