About The Position

As part of our Finance Team, you will be the main point of contact to our internal stakeholders and provide first level support to all Klangers. You will manage our Accounts Payable and Expense process and have freedom to improve continuously and extend our internal financial tools and processes as a well-oiled machine. You will get the opportunity to work on some exciting project work as well, together with other team members in Finance and Operations. What you will do

  • Be the main point of contact for Klangers and our partners regarding day-to-day Finance operations.
  • Manage our digital tools such as Spendesk, Moss, Travelperk, implement improvements in our digital workflows.
  • Ensure a smooth and efficient Accounts Payable and Expense process and work with the People Operations Team on checking our payroll.
  • Prepare inputs for accounting and closely monitor cost allocation and accuracy in our cost center reports.
  • Work closely with other teams such as HR, IT, Workplace, Recruiting (payroll, policies, benefits, inventory management, post-COVID workplace planning), and participate in shared projects from the Finance side.
  • Maintain our policy framework and keep it up-to-date, help writing new policies as we grow.
  • Possibility of full time employment down the line based on candidate and company performance.

Who we think will be a great fit

  • You are currently enrolled in a study program in Berlin in the fields of Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics.
  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • You have good IT literacy (Google Suite – especially Docs, Sheets, Slides – you like to work collaboratively), and can learn new tools quickly.
  • You like working with Excel and don’t shy away from researching formulas independently.
  • You are detail oriented and take pride in your work product.
  • You are good with people and can successfully enforce deadlines and policies with a friendly touch.
  • You are resourceful, take initiative and don’t shy away from finding solutions with other coworkers together.
  • You have a flexible open personality, you like to have fun while working and bring good vibes to the office.
