Description of Duties

• Work within a team to create web applications. Backend and frontend 

• design and develop databases. 

• integrate and migrate data from other databases. 

• Implement and execute a database backup plan of all systems 

• develop queries to help in data cleaning of other systems. 

• design and develop web-based statistical reports and dashboards. 

• install, set up, and configure servers and networks. 

• deploy Database and web applications on cloud and local servers. 

• analyze and document system requirements. 

• write system documentation 

• develop and write user manuals for developed platforms. 

• Design and develop training materials and conduct training and capacity building of partners to 

ensure partners are able to successfully use developed platforms and systems. 

• conduct system training to beneficiaries. 

• Platform software development within the team following the Agile process with task 

breakdowns, sprint goals, and sprint reviews. 

• Identification of new technologies and methods to improve the maintainability and scalability of the 

application. 

Education 

• University degree in Information Technology, mathematics, statistics, or related area. 

 Experience: 

• 3 years of relevant work experience in the design and implementation of web development applications. Frontend and backend 

Extensive experience in: 

• PHP or C# asp.net 
• PHP Laravel or ASP MVC MySQL or SQLServer or PostgreSQL 
• JQuery 
• CSS3 
• Bootstrap
• Experience developing, documenting, and maintaining RESTful API data services. 
• Experience in design and implementation training and capacity building. 
• Experience with Agile development. 
• Experience with HTML, CSS, Material Design, JavaScript, ES6, TypeScript, Gulp, Bower, xlsForms (Kobo,ONA, ODK). 
• Experience with location-based data storage, data formats, manipulation, and analysis. 
• Experience with training and capacity building. 
• The ability to work in an organized manner can carry several projects at the same time, work under pressure and meet deadlines
