**Position Title: Web Assistant (Production & Administration) Duty station: Manila (Global) Administrative Centre (MAC) Job classification: General Staff, Ungraded Type of Appointment: Special short-term ungraded, Four Months Closing date: 24 July 2022 Salary: Php 42,000.00 per month net of taxes (all inclusive fee)

Context**

Under the direct supervision of the Sr Web Editor and in close coordination with Online Communications Unit (OCU) Section Heads and overall supervision of the Head, Online Communications Unit, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating administrative, financial and project management tasks and also uploading content to IOM websites on behalf of OCU, HQ departments and missions worldwide. S/he will also be responsible for the layout and dissemination of the daily Newsdesk produced by OCU.

Required Qualifications and Experience Education

  • University degree in Office or Business Administration, Media and Communications, ICT or a related field from an accredited academic institution, with at least three years of relevant professional experience.
  • Completed High School Degree from an accredited academic institution, with at least five years of relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Relevant experience in a project management office or in project administration/management.
  • Managing extensive mailing lists.
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural office environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365, Windows, Office, and Outlook, and desktop software applications.
  • Ability to use computer applications for staff scheduling, project management and resource tracking.
  • Basic understanding of budgeting, procurement and staff administration support.
  • Basic knowledge of IOM procurement rules, IT procurement and IT assets management an advantage.
  • Good computer skills including knowledge of the word processing, spreadsheets and database.
  • Excellent organization and analytical skills, attention to details, and ability to work with minimum supervision.
