Overview of position:

• Under the overall supervision of the Distribution Officer & the direct supervision of the Distribution Team Leader in Chuuk, Federated States of Micronesia, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, transportation & delivery of various materials in support to the implementation of the Typhoon Wutip Reconstruction Project in Chuuk state.

Role objectives:

• Carry out daily / weekly & monthly inventory of materials.
• Deliver various construction materials, public information & the completion of distribution related paperwork.
• Document the quantity of the materials received, stored & distributed.
• Observe, practice safe working habits, which protect both persons & property.
• Maintain a professional, respectful work environment for all of our clients staff & community members.
• Strictly adhere to our clients policies, procedures including prevention of sexual exploitation, abuse & promotion of a respectful work environment.
• Undertake work related travel at the request & approval of the COM.
• Other duties as assigned & needed to support the program objectives.

Project reporting:
This role works under the overall supervision of the Distribution Officer & the direct supervision of the Distribution Team Leader in Chuuk, Federated States of Micronesia.

Key competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree & / or completed Secondary Education with 3 years of work experience.
• Experience in warehouse or distribution is preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively orally & in writing.
• Good interpersonal skills, diligence & dedication.
• Strong swimming skills.
• Fluency in English (oral & written).
• Working knowledge of Chuukese or any other Micronesian languages.

Team management:

• This role has no team management responsibility.
