About The Opportunity…

The Warehouse Team Manager will play a pivotal part in ensuring compliance is to Standard Operating Procedures to ensure the team and colleagues are working in a safe, secure, clean, and friendly environment.

The role will be fast paced to cover all areas of the operation from goods in to dispatch. It also requires training, and developing the team as well as managing performance and ensuring KPI’s are being achieved.

Shift Pattern: Tuesday -Saturday (weekly rotation)

Week 1- 06:00 -14:00

Week 2 – 14:00-22:00

You Will Be Responsible For

• Overseeing the day-to-day operation and management of warehouse colleagues by assisting the Shift Manager
• Producing accurate and timely reports to monitor performance
• Working to timescales and KPI’s
• Actively lead, motivate, and manage the performance of colleagues in line with Company procedures
• Full adherence to health and safety policy and standard operating procedures.
• Work collaboratively with all departments to provide a joined-up delivery of operational requirements.
• Knowledge and operation of WMS systems advantageous

What You’ll Need…

• You will have previous experience as a Warehouse Team Manager with previous experience working in a distribution centre.
• You will be a great leader with a sound knowledge of H&S standards in a warehouse environment and be accustomed to working towards and achieving KPI’s
• Use common sense and is self-motivated with a ‘can do attitude’
• Be a highly motivated individual with good communication skills, excellent problem solver, team player and have a flexible approach to the role.
• Capable of coping with significant change within a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• A strong solution focus – being comfortable working in an environment which demands solutions in a cost-effective way
• Being an enthusiastic team leader with a strong drive to create a positive and inclusive work environment
