Your Role

We are looking for Warehouse Operatives to work within a team who are responsible for the picking and issuing of goods to the Armed Forces. You don’t need any previous experience in working in a warehouse. We will make sure you are fully trained. You will be required to work Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:00. Additional hours may be available and paid at an enhanced rate.

Your Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Operative you will play a key role ensuring fulfilment of receipt, store, maintain & issue to meet customer requirements.

Your duties will include:

  • Picking, packing, checking, loading and unloading of vehicles to ensure customers’ orders are delivered accurately.
  • On a daily basis you will be operating Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) of which you will be fully trained to support the processing of returns and stock maintenance.
  • Be part of a multi-skilled warehouse team you will need to be able to interact at all levels and work as part of a team environment
  • To work as part of a team, support colleagues and be collaborative in working practices
  • If you have ideas on how tasks can be improved we are ready to listen to them and contribute towards continuous improvement projects
  • Comply with all Safe Working Practices
  • We offer the opportunity to undertake training on manual handling equipment

Your Skills And Experiences

  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team
  • Previous experience in working in a warehouse would be desirable however, we will make sure you are fully trained
  • Good Communication skills
