JOB SUMMARY
SCOPE
The Warehouse associate will work closely with the logistics and procurement team to ensure comprehensive, support and assistance to all activities. This is a critical position. It requires diligence, dedication, and a capacity to handle numerous duties within a changing environment.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:

Manage a local emergency stockpile and goods consolidation point to permit the rapid movement of humanitarian supplies
-
Work closely with logistics and operations teams to provide a timely response for the stock receiving and dispatch requests.

Under the supervision of the logistics officer, ensure maximum availability and implementation of controls and monitoring mechanisms for all stocks and assets inside the warehouse.

Ensure preparedness for emergency response

Take full responsibility to maintain inventory control system of warehouse Stock.

Help ensure monitoring and inspection of goods received in the warehouse

Help carry out regular physical random warehouse checks of commodities and inventory
-
To assist in ensuring safety and security of warehouse as per standards.

Any Other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Supervisor
Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications
-
A university or college degree in the medical sector is preferred
-
Medical supply chain management experience is required.
-
Two years’ experience of working for a humanitarian aid organization in a similar position.

Good in both written and oral in Arabic, and English
-
Problem-solving skills.
-
Analytical skills.
-
Culturally sensitive.
-
Demonstrates the flexibility and energy that is required for a high level of self-management and awareness.

Used to working in fast-moving environments providing accurate and timely information to a high standard.

Good IT skills using the internet, emails, Microsoft Office, and stock management software.
