We are looking for volunteers now! Welcome!
We are Lifting Hands International, an International NGO and we are working with Ukrainian refugees in a community center in Balti, the Republic of Moldova.
International volunteers are working in a team with local volunteers, facilitating program spaces and delivering activities to both local and refugee beneficiaries.
We are aiming to provide psycho-social support (spaces & activities which can promote social cohesion as well as mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being) throughout different programs: Female Friendly Space, Children Friendly Space, Educational Program, including English lessons and spaces for homework as well as Arts and Recreation activities, such as yoga, fitness, dance, music and guitar classes.
We offer our volunteers:
- different trainings on developing personal and professional skills, skills of training delivery for volunteers, and other topics on request or according to the necessity
- a place in a shared accommodation
- pocket money – approx 200 EURO/month.
Skills preferred:
- previous experience in delivering activities such as Yoga, English classes, experience working with children, etc.
- experience working with refugees / vulnerable people
- Russian / Romanian / Ukrainian speaker.
Minimum commitment: 6 weeks.
