Ukraine Parliamentary Elections
Election Date: 31 March 2024.
ODIHR Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights carries out election observation in OSCE (Organization for Security & Cooperation in Europe) participating States to assess the extent to which elections respect fundamental freedoms and are characterized by equality, universality, political pluralism, confidence, transparency and accountability.

Please note that we receive many more applications than we have available observer positions. Only applicants who are available for the full duration of the assignment and have a US passport valid for 6 months beyond the return date of the assignment will be considered. Further, for full consideration for future election observation missions, please demonstrate your reliability by keeping your Amentum SPEO (formerly PAE REACT) application updated: if after you apply, you become unable to participate, please remove the vacancy number from your application so that Amentum does not select you for an EOM when you are unavailable.

A standard Election Observation Mission or EOM, which usually lasts 8 to 10 weeks and includes Long-term Observers (or LTOs) as well as a large number of Short-term observers (or STOs). This is the most comprehensive observation activity deployed by the ODIHR and the focus of this e-learning course. As a prospective short-term observer, you would be deployed to a standard EOM.
