To facilitate young people to take up opportunities appropriate to their needs, within the means of the youth club.
To give a commitment to the youth club to be energetic, positive and promote self-improvement for the duration of your role as leader.
Positively challenge young people in an informal setting where appropriate and beneficial.
Complete administrative duties in relation to safeguarding, to ensure best practice and accountability

Our vision is of a world full of possibilities for all young people. Our mission is to work through a rights-based, youth-led approach to foster learning, innovation, hope and high expectations in young people, their families and their community.
We have a range of senior and junior youth clubs located in rural communities in Tipperary. Our youth clubs are run by local volunteers and supported by our rural outreach team. Our youth clubs cannot run without adult volunteers who provide a fantastic commitment to working with young people in their local communities.

What’s Required
Ability to engage with young people.
A basic understanding and ability to apply the core principles and values underpinning youth work.
An ability to be a positive role model for young people.
Good group work skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills when working with young people, dealing with challenging behaviour and working with other volunteers.
Willingness to learn & have fun
