What will you be doing?

We are a small charity with a big ambition to inspire creativity and passion for the arts in Wycombe and beyond through accessible and inclusive events, workshops, performances, collaborations, exhibitions (and much more!).

Now ten years old, the Arts Centre has grown from its community grassroots into an open collective of local people inspired by creativity, based in a grade II listed former church near High Wycombe town centre. The charity is currently run by an incredible team of part time volunteers, with a small team of paid staff.

What are we looking for?

• Do you have experience of fundraising or entrepreneurship to help us find new and diverse sources of income to maintain and grow the charity sustainably?
• Have you worked in maintenance, restoration or development of historic buildings and spaces?
• Do you have a background in marketing and PR to help raise the profile of the charity amongst new audiences, supporters and potential partners?
• Could you use your knowledge of financial management and business planning to help us develop our five year plan and budget?
• Are you familiar with charity governance or law to help us refresh our constitution and governing practices?
• Have you got skills we haven’t mentioned here, but which you think would be the perfect fit for Wycombe Arts Centre?

What difference will you make?

We are looking for experienced, committed and enthusiastic trustees who can lead the charity on to its next stage of growth – recruiting a full-time management team and establishing new sources of regular and sustained income to grow and promote the Arts Centre, helping us to reach new audiences and communities, as well as investing in developing and showcasing the stunning Arts Centre buildings.
