What will you be doing?
Our challenges
- The ongoing raising of funds towards the sustainability of the organisation after the lottery grant runs out in June 2025
- Developing our services to meet the needs of people with disabilities over the five year period.
We need from our trustees
- Fresh blood to look at the organisation and drive its ongoing development
- Commitment, not just to attendance at Board meetings, but to be a visible and supportive presence for staff and volunteers
- Relevant experience in the charity or commercial sector.
- Experience of disability and/or long term health issues will be useful but not essential.
What are we looking for?
There is more than one vacancy. Experience in any of the following areas is needed Finance, Fundraising, Bid Writing, Governance, Strategic development, Change Management, HR.
It is important to be able to work as part of a team. We are a small organisation. Trustees, staff, volunteers and partner organisations need to work together, respect each other and work towards the the common goal of the health of the organisation and the community sector in Torbay.

- ensure that services are delivered appropriately to increase the financial and mental wellbeing of disabled people and those with long term health issues in Torbay.
