Volunteers Will
- Support Ukrainian refugees with translations.
- Provide information.
- Assist with form-filling.
- Refer them to other support organisations. – Be called upon when their help is required.
They may also attend some integration events that are organised by Cork Volunteer Centre, in both the city and county.
Volunteers may be asked to help other non-profit organisations who are supporting Ukrainian refugees.
Garda Vetting may be required for this role.
About Us
C.O.R.K. (Community Outreach Resources & Knowledge ) is a Cork Volunteer Centre initiative with the aim of supporting the Ukrainian Community in Cork.
Support will include, outreach to relevant areas; providing resources to the Ukrainian community to easily engage in volunteerism and integrate into their local communities; providing knowledge and training to key Ukrainian support organisations.
