Reach Volunteering

Numberfit is looking for a Public Relations Specialists to uphold and elevate the perception of the Numberfit brand. You will also be incharge of all Numberfits releases to the press and will need to drive results in doing so.

What will you be doing?

Numberfit is a social enterprise that works to make Maths learning fun and engaging for children across all age groups.

With the launch of our new website and product offering we’re looking to rapidly grow and our PR will play a vital role in this.

Your responsibilities will be

  • Create and work to a solid PR strategy and gain exposure to Schools, Multi Trust Academies and Local Authorities.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with consumer, community, employee, and public interest groups.
  • Writing press releases and other media communications to promote Numberfit.
  • Producing other material like case studies, newsletters, etc. for internal and external use.
  • Updating and maintaining Web content.
  • Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and opinions.

You will be reporting directly to the Head of Sales & Marketing, and working alongside a small team.

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who has a good understanding of the education sector and has excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The volunteer should also have/be

  • Educated or experienced in journalism, PR, marketing or related fields.
  • Experience in writing effective press releases that resonate with the media and their readers.
  • Creativity in securing coverage and buzz with traditional outlets.
  • Understanding of social media and solid experience working with bloggers.
  • Motivated and target driven
  • Ability to run PR campaigns that deliver measurable results and meet objectives.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Understands the resource constraints of a small organisation and is able to work with these
  • Open to feedback
  • Responds well under pressure with a strict time limit.
