Salary: £17566 (plus £3344 Inner London weighting if applicable)

Why this role matters…**

You’ll support the Volunteer Mobilisation Manager to grow the volunteer Ambulance Support team across the UK ensuring new recruits feel fully supported, relevant checks are in place, personal details are maintained, have support to access on line learning and are fully compliant in their role.
You’ll help to create a culture of engagement and wellbeing through documenting new processes, disseminating information to the relevant people through tools such as a monthly newsletter and help plan engagement events.

How you’ll make a difference…

  • Ensure new volunteers are supported through the on boarding process so they are fully compliant when handed over to the local Service Delivery Manager.
  • Support volunteers with IT access to the learning platform to increase compliance across Ambulance Support to help maintain standards. Monitor — – Assemble to ensure volunteers accounts are up to date and we comply with GDPR.
  • Attend national meetings and support the Management team taking notes then distributing accordingly.
  • Collate up to date information and create the monthly newsletters to ensure all staff are informed. Provide administrative support to AS service delivery team as directed by the AS Volunteer Mobilisation Manager

What you’ll bring to the role…

No work experience necessary, but we are looking for someone who:

  • Has strong communication skills
  • Has good knowledge of the main office software packages
  • Has good time management and organisation skills
  • Is self-motivated
  • Is passionate about making a difference
