Volunteer Group Worker (Affected Others)

Understanding addiction and recovery processes can be a challenge for people who live with those who use substances. At Change Grow Live, as well as supporting those with addiction, we offer support to families and carers of those affected too.

Volunteer Group Workers deliver online support groups as well as in person. Could you contribute to this as a Volunteer Group Worker (Affected Others)? With this role you’ll be working as part of the team, based in King’s Lynn.

The team supports people with their loved ones’ drug and/or alcohol issues.

No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key.

We will support you in this volunteering role by ensuring that you receive regular supervision, and have someone on site who you can approach for day-to-day advice and guidance. In return for the time you give you will receive valuable training and gain experience and skills. You’ll be making a real difference too.
