Volunteer Finance Advisor | Humanitarian Operations

What will you be doing?

Your role as Finance Advisor will focus on assisting the accounts and finances of our current and future projects. This will be done through by

• Overseeing the financial affairs of the charity and ensuring they are legal, constitutional and are within an accepted financial practice.
• Ensure records are maintained with an effective financial procedure.
• Supervise the financial management reports for the Senior Leadership Team.
• Advise the Senior Leadership Team on their financial responsibilities and requirements for the organization.
• Able to volunteer for the duration of three months, working at least 2 days per week.

What are we looking for?

• You will have previous Accountant/Finance Director experience working in a fast paced and rapidly evolving environment.
• You have experience in strategic finance.
• You will need to be an organised individual with strong communication and time management skills.
• The ability to understand the needs of our expanding team.
• An aptitude in organisation is crucial.
• You will have a strong desire to address the needs of project team members and continually seek to improve quality and standards of excellence.
• You are able to work closely with senior leadership to drive our current and future projects forward.
