Volunteer Filmmaking of Online Yoga-Based Courses for Kids Mental and Physical Health | YogoJo Foundation

Reach Volunteering

We are looking for help to make cutting edge videos for kids and teens on how to manage chronic stress and improve their physical and mental health by practicing yoga-based breathing and relaxation as well as physical postures.

What will you be doing?

  • We need a flexible person or a team to produce short videos/films on a variety of themes that relate to problems that children and adolescents face these days and which have an impact on their mental and physical health.
  • Filming interviews of inspiring stories with researchers, experts, teachers, health practitioners, teenagers and children who share the evidence that yoga may help manage the impact of stress on any areas of our life.
  • In October 2022 we are planning a series of recording sessions for our One Breath One Movement Programme with 5 yoga teachers and 10 children and would need these sessions to be filmed and edited in order to produce 5 mins and 10 mins long videos with instructions with a small group of children. This will include
  • filming and editing the content for about 6 hours of footage for online yoga-based videos for the thematic modules with the quality of resolution 1080p
  • cutting between the two/three cameras (as needed), adding main titles, intro and outro music, improving colours, and tiding up audio
  • filming a signer signing all the videos for the sign language (after the main videos are signed off – so they know exactly what needs signing)
  • adding subtitles for the main videos
  • we will provide music with copy right clearance, clear direction and guidance on desired content, tone, and final result
  • we will need you to provide filming and editing equipment and your crew

In the future we will also need help with filming events organised by us or our sponsors as well as filming adverts for future events.
