We are seeking dynamic and passionate trainers to join our virtual team, empowering individuals aged 40 to 55 in acquiring digital literacy and tech skills. As a Volunteer Digital Literacy and Tech Skills Trainer, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and impactful learning experiences, fostering a tech-savvy community in the virtual space.

Brave Achievers is a Non-Profit Organization with a mission to educate and empower individuals from diverse backgrounds with industry-ready tech skills to succeed in the evolving tech world.

We are launching Re-Invent X, a transformative 3-month Bootcamp aimed at bridging the digital literacy and tech skills gap to individuals aged 40-55. As a volunteer trainer, you will play a crucial role in empowering participants to navigate the digital tech landscape with confidence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interactive training sessions on digital literacy, safe online practices, modern technologies, including AI and IoT.
• Utilize virtual collaboration tools to facilitate practical applications.
• Adapt teaching methods for effective engagement, accommodating diverse learning styles and tech familiarity.
• Deliver curriculum content tailored to the needs of adult learners.
• Provide hands-on support to participants, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Provide one-on-one assistance to participants to address individual challenges and queries.
• Collaborate with fellow trainers and program coordinators to ensure a seamless learning experience.

Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (education, technology, or a relevant discipline).
• Proven experience in adult education, training, or coaching, especially with diverse age groups.
• Strong understanding of digital literacy, internet safety, modern technologies, AI, and IoT.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, Project Management, and AI tools.
• Proficiency in utilizing virtual collaboration tools and platforms.
• Patience and empathy in working with individuals at various tech proficiency levels and with a passion for teaching and helping others.
• Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly and understandably.
• Experience with project management and the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing technology and training needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to professional development and staying up to date with industry trends and advancements.
• Proficiency in instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
• Familiarity with learning management systems and e-learning platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all training materials and documentation.
