Reach Volunteering
What will you be doing?
We have a part time marketing manager and social media and Google Adwords volunteer (we get $10,000 per month). We post on social media and have a newsletter. But how do we bring it all together? We saw a case study where the Samaritans turned their Adwords into £3000 in monthly donations and also attracted people for fundraising events. We would love you to help us with this.
Although we do not have the Samaritans brand we would like your consultancy and advice to start doing this. We are envisaging a ‘short term’ engagement when you tell us how to set this up and run it. But if you would like to volunteer for longer and act as non-executive or take on some of the work that would be great too.
What are we looking for?
Good experience in running digital fundraising for a small to medium-sized charity and with the knowledge to help us implement best practices.
What difference will you make?
We think our website is a first and we have more development plans. Thus far we have benefitted with pro bono grants from JP Morgan and the Scottish Tech Army but we are looking for more funding to help young people and their families affected by mental illness. There are more than 1m young people with an illness and no access to secondary care. We want to be there to help them.
Before you apply
You will meet with Caitlin our marketing manager and Alex the CEO.
