Do you have experience leading and aligning content activities taking a user-centred, evidence-based approach to content design? Do you have excellent editorial skills that help your team design and develop content that is easy to understand?

What will you be doing?

  • Lead the content design team on the creation and continuous improvement of content across multiple channels for both internal and external users.
  • Leads the design and implementation of strategy, directing the evaluation of strategies and policies to ensure project and user requirements are being met.
  • Mentoring, coaching and training the content design team and assuring that their work meets the required standards.
  • Lead on the design and implementation of a content strategy, which will guide processes, standards and workflows for content development across areas of the project.
  • Lead and implement a strategy and set of standards for the transition of service design from WordPress to Drupal
  • Assist in planning content design resources and providing professional support across teams.

What are we looking for?

1 – Experience in a lead content design role, planning and producing content based on user needs, managing content teams, developing and implementing content strategy, and delivering high-quality content across a variety of channels.

2 – Ability to think, act and communicate strategically in such a way as to stimulate conversation and collaboration, influence and lead thinking as appropriate.

3 – Excellent organisational, communication and management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, work to tight deadlines and deliver a high-quality service

4 – Knowledge of other user-centred design practices and experience of collaborating with them for service delivery.
