Vocational Training Coordinator

Refugee Services of Texas, Inc. is seeking a Vocational Training Coordinator to assist in the management and coordination of clients completing vocational training. The Vocational Training Coordinator will report directly to the Integration Program Supervisor (Employment). The Vocational training Coordinator will do outreach for program participants and find potential program opportunities for clients.

Job Duties:

• Partner with client to identify vocational opportunities, assist with application completion, and coordinate interviews

• Advocate for clients, and follow-up with employers

• Develop and maintains relationships with community referral sources, businesses, employers, and schools

• Report on program outcomes and ensure that goals and objectives are met

• Contacts clients and monitors services to ensure timely provision of services and progress to plan completion outcome.

• Assist clients in removing barriers to program enrollment and completion

• Conduct outreach to eligible communities to build trust and encourage participation

• Complete all case notes and program documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance within program guidelines and confirms timely delivery of services

• Ensure timely data entry into agency and state funder databases

• Communicates coordinates and promotes programs within the community and partners.
