Introduction

Oaktree’s Marketing Group is seeking an individual to join its Middle East team to bolster fund raising activities with investors in the region, with respect to Oaktree’s various global investment strategies.

Scope And Responsibilities

  • Lead coverage of most family offices and intermediary relationships
  • Assist with coverage of some government entities, eg SWFs and pension funds, specifically focused on open-end and evergreen opportunities
  • Focus on prospecting & developing new relationships as well as building out existing relationships
  • Develop an understanding of investor perspectives on markets and appropriate investment opportunities arising from that
  • Assist with preparing and executing regional roadshows
  • Gain and maintain an excellent understanding of Oaktree’s various investment strategies, publications, key functions and personnel
  • Managing prospective investor education on Oaktree strategies, products, insight publications
  • Liaise internally with various Oaktree departments (Investment teams, Legal, Operations, Client Services etc.) with respect to client requests
  • Develop and maintain close ties with internal client service teams to ensure excellence in investors’ experience with Oaktree

Experience Required

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the fund management industry
  • Experience in regional relationship management is required
  • Understanding of markets,
