User Experience Researcher (m/f/d)

Your Role

As a UX researcher (m/f/d) at StudySmarter, you can directly have an impact on our product, which is used by hundreds of thousands of students and pupils in Germans. It’s your goal to understand the user behavior and the main user problems on StudySmarter and to help us develop the next steps for our product roadmap. You will be in touch with the StudySmarter users and will execute qualitative interviews and surveys. On the other hand you will use analytics tools like Amplitude in order to gain data driven insights in the user journey and the user behavior.

You will be in permanent exchange with the founding team, the tech team and the design team. Together we work towards our goal of empowering everyone to achieve their educational goals and towards making StudySmarter the world wide #1 learning platform.

You will have the following responsibilities:

• You work closely with your product teams to identify and prioritize research opportunities in a fast-changing environment
• You will use qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods research to understand our customers, products, and competition
• You communicate insights effectively and help your product teams to understand the goals, needs, and challenges of our customers
• You will conduct user interviews to understand specific cohorts as well as deduct user problems based on feedback messages
• You are the users advocate towards StudySmarter to ensure user driven insights lead to product development

What you need to succeed

• You have 2,5+ years of experience in user experience research / product development /
• You are passionate about digital products
• You are experienced with analytics tools
• You have a good intuition for user friendly UX
• You have strong analytic skills and a data- and user driven mindset to deduct actionable insights based on user behavior
• You are creative and able to develop different solution concepts for existing product issues
• You speak German or English proficiently, both language are a plus
