Position Description

This role is a Vice President position is within the US Banks First Line Operational Risk team. This team is one of the teams that comprise the US Banks First Line Business Risk Management organization. The Vice President will also work closely with Operational Risk Managers in executing the risk and control functions for the First Line of Defense for the U.S. Banks.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform and assist in executing core Operational Risk framework responsibilities and supporting coverage across Business Units and First Line Bank Support Functions:
• Monitoring, oversight and reporting of Internal Audit, Regulatory exam, compliance testing, and Self-Identified Issues and Actions as part of the Banks’ Operational Risk Team
• Maintaining all First Line policies and procedures related to the Banks operational risk activities including drafting, reviewing, and updating them as necessary
• Monitoring, oversight and reporting of Operational Risk Incidents
• Facilitating the execution of the Risk & Control Self-Assessment framework for the US Banks
• Serve as an operational risk subject matter specialist, leading aspects of operational risk change initiatives and designing, implementing, and operationalizing solutions
• Develop in-depth knowledge of the US Banks Institutional, Bank and Lending products and forge deep relationships with Business Unit partners, the Second Line of Defense Operational Risk Department, and provide support of Operational Risk programs
