Job Summary
This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. This position may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Part-Time – Permanent
Work Location: 474 Welham Rd Barrie, ON L4N 8Z4
Workdays: Monday to Friday
Shift Start: 5:00 PM Shift averages 3-5 hours a day. Hours, start times/finish times may vary with operational need. Flexibility required.
Pay rate: Pay rate of $15.55/hr
Responsibilities
Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods.
Loads and unloads UPS packages into trailers or package cars.
Qualifications
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
Ability to read and memorize postal codes
Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
Warehouse experience – Preferred
Compensation And Benefits
Pay rate of $15.55/hr.
Automatic pay rate progression as per the existing Union Collective Agreement (top rate: $26.79/hr after 48 months).
Health and dental benefits after 12 months of employment (commences on the first day of the month after meeting the requirement)
