An opportunity has arisen with the Front of House Department for a Caretaker to provide day to day support with the preparation of buildings/facilities in line with staff and students requirements with additional driving responsibilities.
The post comprises of assisting staff, student and visitors by complying with reactive requests from the University’s helpdesk in a prompt and efficient manner. The post also includes assisting with general housekeeping duties, receiving internal and external mail and liaising with specialist teaching areas and technicians to support room resets/layout changes and collecting and delivering resources between the various sites as required.
Flexibility is required as you will be working a rotating shift: 06:00 – 14:00 then 22:00 – 06:00 Monday to Friday.
About You
Essential:
Have a full UK driving licence
Experience in housekeeping tasks
Experience of working in occupied building understanding not to cause disruption
Desirable
Experience working in the Higher Education sector
