International Student Adviser

The Directorate of Outreach, Recruitment and Marketing is seeking to employ an International Student Adviser.

The International Student Adviser will be responsible for providing a comprehensive pastoral and educational support, advice and guidance service to international students from pre-arrival to graduation. They will also be responsible for providing an excellent student experience to students from across the world and ensuring that the retention of overseas students is at the highest possible level.

This post requires commitment, enthusiasm, and professionalism to meet the expectations of a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including students, staff, parents, sponsors, agents and educational and recruitment partners at all levels. The International Student Adviser must therefore be self-motivated, flexible, and able to work with the minimum of supervision

They will be required to provide advice and guidance to prospective applicants (to improve conversion) to provide support to existing students (to improve retention). They will be expected to work flexibly to support caseloads across the team.
