We’re looking for an experienced Unity Developer to join our team to help us support 3D artists and creators by showcasing their work in the best light possible using Unity. You’ll work on enhancing our immersive experiences on the MetaMundo.co marketplace using Unity to enable metaverse builders and collectors to explore 3D scenes and objects in a game like experience before they buy these assets.

We have 100s of 3D creators who are waiting to work with us, so you’ll enable us to onboard and support more creators by further automating our 3D model deployment processes in Unity in a way that is efficient and scalable.

As a key member of a talented and motivated tech team, you’ll participate in our product development from ideation to deployment and beyond, and interact with our tech team to understand our domain and create technical solutions that push us forward. 

The types of projects we need support with include creating tooling for importing models, showcasing new types of 3D models like avatars, and developing a preset builder tool for lighting and other effects.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience developing games using Unity
• Expert understanding of configuring and optimising Unity environments to showcase 3D models and assets
• Interested in new technologies within gaming, 3D and the metaverse
• Strong understanding of the trade-offs when optimising for quality and speed of 3D model rendering
• Experience with automating 3D model importing and delivery pipeline
• Comfortable in an agile startup environment, with the ability to work autonomous and able to define, scope and refine requirements together based on product and business needs
• Strong understanding of game engine technologies and game building
• Very good verbal communication skills in English
• European friendly time-zone preferred
