If required as per deployment and context, paramedic role could be involved in patient care activities, although it might not be the primary focus of the role.

As a HART Paramedic you may be requested to manage multiple streams of work, acting as a technical resource to support activities related to the context, ensuring that best guidance and standards are available for training and capacity under the Paramedic scope of practice. Along with the doctors and nurses you will play a central role in building the local capacity of any field staff (i.e., Ministry of Health or other NGOs), in areas related to the response, through training delivery.
